The story is about Lý Ông Trọng (李翁仲), a nephilim/ giant in Đông Sơn Culture (Prehistoric and ancient cultures of Vietnam), Hùng Vương Era. He had lived in between Hồng Bàng Dynasty and Qin Dynasty, served for 2 kings were An Dương Vương (安陽王) and Qin Si Huang (秦始皇), around maybe ~257 BC to 221BC.
His story was recorded in Lĩnh Nam Chích Quái (嶺南摭怪) which means "Selection of Strange Tales in Lĩnh Nam", a semi-fictional mythology of Vietnam; and Đại Việt Sử Ký Toàn Thư (大越史記全書) means Complete Annals of Đại Việt, an official national chronicle of the ancient Vietnam and some ancient Chinese documents.
